Here’s the November, 2012 issue of Downbeat Magazine – Jazz, Blues & Beyond. This is an example of one of the magazine ads that Dream Cymbals published with Richard Irwin as their endorsee. This is a huge boost for anyone’s career. This photo-shoot of Richard was taken by Neil Emberg, who is now a published photographer because of this ad. Thank you Rich!
“I mentioned that Neil Emberg and Hadrian’s Wall had a new CD and it is a beauty—recorded live last year in the beer tent at the Glengarry Highland Games in Maxville Ontario in front of one of the wildest crowds you can imagine. Feeding off the energy of this mob of wild Canadians, Hadrian’s Wall put in one fine performance which was well-recorded with ambient noise filtered out nicely so that you get the energy and feeling while hearing the music perfectly. Want to know how it sounds in the first row, right in front of the stage? Well, here you go. As far as the beer tent smell, you don’t want to know. You also get to miss the flying beer. That’s why kilts get to smelling that way after a couple games.”
